This piece was created without the use of black or white. What you see is a visual illusion created by placing each warm color’s contrasting cool color in correlation. If one was to take a piece of white paper with a small square cut out the true tones would become clear. This piece is the beginning of a multi-media series of work. This series, already in progress, will have subjects that vary from still lives to woven “stained” glass, all created without the use of black or white.
