And what if your silence is my trigger?
Will that cease your demands to control me?
Will you finally see that our responsibility of control lies within self?
Does it scare you to realize you don’t have dominance of me?
When I care enough to let you hurt me, does it feel good to you?
The righteous feeling of harming because you feel harmed…
And yet you claim you aren’t Christian.
An eye for an eye isn’t the way.
Your soul weighs more each forced fake exchange.
Strength gains from tolerance?
Instead a rock worn away:
Growing legs takes far more capacity of tenacity.
When places won’t make space:
There is no other way.
