Many people are triggered today, seems to be the trend since the election. Some are frustrated over parties, others results. What’s real is those who are living in fear. 

The fear finds them in their homes, finds them in the morning on the way to school, and haunts them at playgrounds all across America. This United States that is behaving as anything but united. Our leader has turned his back on Mother Earth,freedom , age-old treaties, the constitution but worse of all, the American people.

The United States of America is a wonderful place because of we have always been on the cutting edge of freedom, though at times slower going than those who pick up the que. The entire country was ready for a change this past election. Despite the poor taste in options, we got one. This isn’t the change we need. 

We need unity, not reasons for divide. This isn’t a Christian nation (site separation of church and state) but if it were, this isn’t how it would behave. Christ’s message is one of love and acceptance. He urgued his followers to behave as a community lifting the others up. Not only to those which we find most familiar, but to the whore in the street (who became a minister of his light, remember). How can you attract a moth with only the darkness of hate behind your rib cage? 

The community of America is filled with a spectacular spectrum of Humanity. Here within these 50 states lies all skin tones of the world. Each sector has its own brand of beliefs and heritage. Colors, if you may, which weave beautifully with one another creating a pattern of unique beauty and strength. This fabric is being torn, cut and shredded in the name of financial gain. It’s up to all of us to cease the damage. 

On this spectrum I am part of but a blip. What seems to be a small section of white Americans who do not see America as white. This group of people sees a rainbow of traditions and fills to the time with love. Love for an experience. Love for learning. Love for the unique opportunity to enjoy a taste of every walk of life. After all this is the land of the free. Everyone deserves freedom.
